This is a translation and commentary of selections from the Maktubat-i Imam-i Rabbani of the Great Mujaddid Ahmad Sirhindi. In the first section, he discusses the the creed of Islam including many of his inspired ideas and rectifies many of Ibn Arabi’s seemingly deviant ideas with orthodox Islam. He discusses the importance of the practice of the sharia. Finally, he discusses the proper role of sufism in Islam. Additionally, he talks about the rules of the Naqshbandi tariqa.
